The triggering CPT events Trella Health uses for Physician Total Patient Cost metrics match the most recently published list from CMS regarding CPT codes that count towards MSSP Version-9 Attribution and DCE Version-1 Attribution. We want the Physician Total Patient Cost metrics to represent the patients the clinicians are managing and CMS defines these CPT codes as counting towards attribution, which is, in theory, "managing."
